Are We Happy Yet?

Figure it out. ARE we happy yet?

Lovely day yesterday at the farm, Las Vegas New Mexico.

We had a bunch of visitors. The first group from old college days…and they took our photo sitting on piano bench.

The next group, another old college friend who brought three Chinese musicians to the farm. These musicians will play a concert tonight, and of course we will attend. Fascinating.

Highlight was a first-time ride on a horse! Horse lessons for the Chinese musicians on old 20 year old Chief, a paint horse who is mild and kind and put up with people on his back learning how to handle western reins, etc.

And even I got to ride a bit around the paddock.

Chief is about 20 years old. Free range in a large pasture, and still a bit shaggy after grooming lessons.

PS, The students and their mentor played phenomenally well. Beethoven and Mozart. Excellent and flawlessly executed. Such a lot of talent.
