How will an automatic email secretary (AI)decide which sort of reply to make?
Directions to my AI gmail machine: If there is a 396ufp2- in my inbox, automatically respond with a 7390wer-0sdva.
That could be the future of gmail.
One could go on vacation and no one would be the wiser! Just think of the wowwee back and forth correspondence that could be manufactured by a stupid or clever or evil AI program! Will they look up definitions of the words they pick? Or will they just make up something?
I WILL NOT “DO” AI.

It’s bad enough that bad guys hack my regular email. At least I can find suspicious misspellings and errors in grammar and trash pfishing type hacks. If the bad guys get nifty with AI, there will be no clues as to which email one dares to open.

I foresee a major jam up and break down coming for the whole wide world!
Get out the envelopes and carrier pigeons… the post office will not function with AI. It may be that our world will be limited to back-fence and pub interchanges. A good thing? Think about it.
