Paola, you write:

"I think you are partly correct, but it is not that easy. Christianity did not expand (and all Abrahamic religions) because people wanted to simply share their beliefs; it was militant.

Also, they have destroyed many cultures; for example, Christianity has completely disrupted the way of Native Americans. It is a complex subject in my opinion, especially when we bring in the damage report."

I think there is a great difference between Religion and Faith. One is a system. The other is a personal belief. Carrying the label of a particular Religion means carrying a banner...not distant from starting a war, yes? But a personal belief has to do with the spirit of a person's soul.

That humans are (naturally) imperfect is not a hard concept to demonstrate. Trying to imprint a certain Religion's brand on another person is not bringing a truth to that person. It is collecting a following. This is not what Jesus of the Bible taught. The God of my acquaintance is not brutal or warlike. It is so human for people to imagine that only their own experience of Religion is sufficient, and that every other belief system is wrong, flawed, and worthy of condemnation.

So much damage has been done by the stupid pride of humans. It's a wonder that the world still spins. Love, not killing, will instruct the willing soul.

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it.
