Peace, Peace, when there is no Peace…

Today is June 11, 2024

I have a bunch of wonders floating around today…
Important wonders.

  1. Hunter Biden was convicted today. Will this tar and feather his father Joe’s campaign for the next presidency? Or will it display Joe Biden’s honesty and contrast that with the slippery record that Trump has exhibited to the voting public?

“For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments” (Deuteronomy 5:9–10).Jan 30, 2024

2. Or will Joe and Donald’s records be reflected in their children’s third and fourth generations??? Who can we trust when we are at the voting booth for next president? One is truthful and honest about real facts; the other is clever and slippery with lies and crimes in his history.

3. Will the US fall for the circus the internet is offering about each candidate? How much political rhetoric via MSNBC or FOX News can we really rely on as truth? Are we suspicious, or are we part of a cult and unable to discern what is skewed news?

4. Can the world, once again, solve the Israel/Gaza/Palestine conundrum? Or have all the supposed “solutions” in that age old battle just been, again, played like a finesse in an eternal gamble that will never stop? Will the Gaza disease ever be settled?

5. Will the US participate in yet another World War because of unconscionable greed and grandiosity of warring nations? Can the US pass on this one?

6. What will my children and their children have as a reality in a few years?
Isaiah 48:22. AMP

“They have treated superficially the [bloody] broken wound of My people, Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ When there is no peace.

7. Will money ever stop driving human behavior?

8. Will childish greed and one-upmanship ever be exposed and rejected as such in the adult segment of our world population?

9. Will we ever solve the mystery of male/female uniqueness? Will we ever affirm the uniqueness of manhood and womanhood? Can we celebrate male-ness and femininity without allowing for different versions of womanhood and manhood? Will we ever rejoice in the uniqueness of each soul?

10. Are we doomed to become subject to a “paperdoll” standard? Will AI make our world a comic book? Disneyland? Will we be little clones with engineered bodies, minds, consciences, sensitivities, roles in life?

Lots more is churning through my 87-ish mind and it is exhausting.
It is exhausting because I care so much about our human race, the health of our planet, and the future of our souls and identities.
